Around St. Simons, one crew boxed redfish, released about 15 nice trout and added black drum and sheepshead on day one, then landed 29 trout, 39 sheepshead, 20 reds and four black drum on day two, on soft plastics and live shrimp. Trout hit paddle tails out of Crooked River State Park, and another angler had 35 trout and four reds on a Laguna Shrimp Sea Shad.
In the Lowcountry, morning water is running about 70 degrees at the mouths of Fripp Inlet and Port Royal Sound.
