The Coastal Angler (thecoastalangler.com) is a listing and booking service for fishing trips. It is run by USCG-licensed Captain Chris Pace. Guides are independent businesses. They are not our employees. Each guide is responsible for their own trip, boat, licenses, insurance and safety.
Booking a guide costs one flat $29.95 booking fee, paid to us through Stripe. It holds your trip with the guide. The booking fee is non-refundable. Trips in FL have no booking fee for now, while approval there is pending.
We do not refund the booking fee. Instead, you get a credit for one future booking. Credits do not expire. To cancel, email [email protected].
The trip price (the balance) is paid to your guide, not to us. We do not collect or hold it. Ask your guide about their own rules for weather and changes to the trip.
Your captain decides whether it is safe to go. Fishing reports, tides and weather on this site are for planning only. Always check conditions yourself.
We email you only if you ask us to, for example by checking the box for deals or signing up for the daily report. You can unsubscribe any time: use the unsubscribe link in the email, reply STOP, or email us.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
